AI is Driving into the Civilization's Foundation, While the Ownership of Intelligent Assets Remains an Unsolved Mystery
Behind the rapid global AI development wave, a long-overlooked issue is gradually becoming a consensus focus - the construction of artificial intelligence depends on large-scale human collaboration, but its value attribution structure remains severely imbalanced. Data, labels, feedback, and behaviors - these original assets supporting model growth are still difficult to track, confirm rights, and incentivize.
In the past, AI was viewed as a technological achievement; today, it is more like a refinement of distributed productivity. Who is participating? Who should own it? Who should benefit? The answers to these questions directly determine the future shape of the AI economy.
The emergence of Sahara AI is precisely proposing a reconstruction plan of AI X WEB 3 in this context: participating in construction, contributing value, and obtaining rewards from artificial intelligence, an open and accessible global first full-stack, AI-native blockchain platform.
Unlike Web3 packaging around existing AI tools, Sahara AI has been attempting to establish a completely new intelligent asset order since its inception - where key assets such as data, models, and intelligent agents can be registered, authorized, verified, and profit-shared, forming the "on-chain property layer" and "value distribution layer" of the AI era.
Sahara Launches SIWA Testnet: First Publicly Available On-Chain Data Rights Confirmation System
May 19, 2025, Los Angeles time - Sahara AI officially launches its public test network SIWA, opening AI creation, collaboration, and monetization channels to cross-chain developers. SIWA is the first public entry point of the Sahara blockchain, and as underlying infrastructure, its core function is to provide verifiable rights confirmation, permission management, and on-chain monetization capabilities for AI assets such as datasets and models, establishing a trustworthy and traceable AI collaboration standard.
During the private testing phase, Sahara AI has achieved significant growth: total accounts exceeded 3.2 million, daily active accounts over 1.4 million, with more than 200,000 users participating in data annotation tasks.
The first phase of SIWA public testing focuses on "decentralized data rights confirmation", allowing users to register their independent datasets on-chain and mint data ownership certificates, making them possess trackable, priceable, and profit-sharable asset attributes, thereby changing the traditional AI situation of data being covertly plundered without pricing rights.
"AI is evolving driven by data from billions of users, but the vast majority of them are neither authorized nor compensated."
Sahara AI Co-founder & CEO Sean Ren stated:
"Sahara is not just another blockchain project, but a call for systematic reflection and collective action. Our data service platform has already achieved real revenue and will directly return this value to testnet users. SIWA will support any developers and chains willing to empower AI contributors to join our ecosystem."

Sahara AI's protocol roadmap includes three additional stages before mainnet: converting attribution to income licensing, income distribution, and royalty vault; a permissionless testnet adopting open-source protocols; and pipeline registration, provenance tracking, and contribution proof for automatic income sharing.
This SIWA testnet simultaneously introduces 40+ new ecosystem partners, covering AI, Web3, cloud computing, and academic institutions, including AWS, Google Cloud, UC Berkeley, Together AI, and QuickNode. Previously, Sahara has established partnerships with Microsoft, Amazon, Snap, MIT, USC, UCLA, and MyShell.

"Sahara AI is opening a more open, fair, and sustainable AI collaboration era."
Together AI Co-founder & CEO Vipul Ved Prakash stated:
"We believe scalable computing resources will become the new infrastructure for Web3 AI. Together AI will fully support Sahara's developer platform, helping more users conveniently call and deploy intelligent models."
With the launch of SIWA, Sahara AI will also progressively introduce its flagship applications to the public, providing tools, infrastructure, and economic systems related to the industrial chain for Web2 and Web3 builders and contributors: AI Developer Platform, AI Marketplace, and Data Service Platform (DSP).
The Data Service Platform will open public testing on May 27, a pioneering service utilizing distributed contributors for large-scale data collection and annotation. The platform provides decentralized review, incentive distribution, and quality inspection mechanisms, with the first quarter's reviewed data reaching 289,000 entries at 92% accuracy, and the second quarter exceeding 2.55 million entries with accuracy improved to 95%.
Sahara AI has solved the long-standing AI infrastructure challenge in the blockchain ecosystem, providing global developers with a full-stack AI development and collaboration platform, and achieving AI asset rights confirmation, trading, and shared revenue through Web3 protocol mechanisms. SIWA marks the fundamental reconstruction of AI production relations and the starting point of the De-AI era.
