MCP is rapidly occupying the core position in the Web3 AI Agent ecosystem, introducing MCP Server through a plugin-like architecture, and granting AI Agents new tools and capabilities.
Similar to other emerging narratives in the Web3 AI field (such as vibe coding), MCP, which stands for Model Context Protocol, originated from Web2 AI and is now being reimagined in the Web3 context.
5. Promote open-source innovation, allow small developers to release data sources such as ESG, and enrich ecosystem diversity
Currently, most MCP Server infrastructure still matches tools by parsing users' natural language prompts. In the future, AI Agents will be able to autonomously search for required MCP tools to complete complex task objectives.
However, the MCP project is still in its early stages. Most platforms are still centralized plugin markets, with project parties manually collecting third-party Server tools from GitHub and developing some plugins in-house, which is essentially no different from Web2 plugin markets, with the only difference being a focus on Web3 scenarios.

Future Trends and Industry Impact
Currently, more and more crypto industry professionals are recognizing the potential of MCP in connecting AI and blockchain. For example, Binance founder CZ recently publicly called on AI developers to actively build high-quality MCP Servers, providing a richer toolset for AI Agents on BNB Chain. The BNB MCP Server project list has been made public for users exploring the ecosystem.
As infrastructure matures, the competitive advantage of "developer-first" companies will shift from API design to: who can provide a more diverse, rich, and easily combinable toolset.
In the future, every application may become an MCP client, and every API may be an MCP server.
This could give rise to a new pricing mechanism: Agents can dynamically select tools based on execution speed, cost efficiency, relevance, etc., forming a more efficient Agent service economic system empowered by Crypto and blockchain as a medium.
Of course, MCP itself does not directly face end users; it is a underlying protocol layer. This means that the true value and potential of MCP can only be truly seen when AI Agents integrate and transform it into a practical application.
Ultimately, Agents are the carriers and amplifiers of MCP capabilities, while blockchain and crypto mechanisms build a trusted, efficient, and composable economic system for this intelligent network.
