According to Foresight News, Story's ecological music tokenization platform MUSIC has released the on-chain asset DRIP, a single track created by top 100 DJ R3HAB titled 《Drip Drip》. Based on the token economic model, 20% of the supply will be used for the first round of airdrop, with the snapshot already completed. The platform has migrated from Base to Story chain, supporting MUSIC's one-click cross-chain functionality. Transactions will use Story's native token IP as gas fees.
This model achieves on-chain IP confirmation and real-time profit sharing for music, where artists can earn revenue through 1% transaction sharing, licensing fees, and derivative product sharing. R3HAB and the Sony-Tencent joint venture label have received 15% of token allocation, with the remaining portion to be used for community incentives. This launch marks a significant innovation in music assets in the Web3 domain, providing creators with a brand new monetization channel.
