PANews reported on June 2nd that after being exposed by the "blockchain detective" ZachXBT for a recent hacker attack, BitoPro issued an announcement on its Telegram channel, confirming that the old hot wallet was attacked during the process of wallet system upgrade and asset transfer. However, they immediately activated an emergency response mechanism, quickly transferred platform assets to a new wallet, blocked the hacker's actions, and simultaneously entrusted a third-party professional cybersecurity company to comprehensively assist in investigation and tracking related clues.
BitoPro also stated that the platform's virtual asset reserves are sufficient, and user rights are completely unaffected. User fund deposits, withdrawals, and trading functions remain normal, and they will subsequently disclose the new hot wallet address for external verification.
