Updated Tier List for JUNE WEEK #1 🐒 TIER 3: 🟡 ASYNC → The team have self-doxxed themselves to me and their background looks OK but the product sounds too jargonish. We will have a spaces where we can dive deeper into their backgrounds and the problem they’re trying to solve. Unlike other fellow Virgens, I don’t care whether the website art assets or the marketing copywriting is copy pasta or not – I care whether they’re able to do whatever it takes and prioritize the right things to grow the business. 🟡 ERM —> As an ex-web3 gaming degen, I got put off when I see the terms Metaverse and Sandbox. Gaming/metaverse not only has no pmf/demand in web3 but it also costs much more to operate a metaverse project rather than a DeFi/AI one as you need creative/art people to constantly create content. A virtual escape room is not very different than a game or metaverse experience. That said there are things I like; the founder is fully doxxed & fully committed and has been grinding in CT. They raised VC funding but VC allo is very small and they plan not to launch another token. 🟡 SIYA → Thanks to @iamyourchaos, I learned that the team previously raised VC funding from Multicoin, Alameda and OKX Ventures back in 2021 and then launched a token called $REAL (Realy) on SOlana which is currently at $300k FDV. And $SIYA token will be part of the Realy ecosystem where a certain % of tokens might be airdropped to $REALY holders (TBD). There are some things that doesn’t make sense and the more things don’t make sense, the less I get inclined to endorse them to people who trust me with their points. I do believe the $100k revenue figure is real but I am not sure whether this was a one-off thing or sustainable. I’m glad that we are having a spaces together this week so all community questions can be asked. Based on the revenue numbers and team background, this project has Tier 1 potential but the uncertainties pushed me to downgrade them as Tier 3. 🟡 LIB → Tilting more towards Tier 4 – South Asia based team from an underserved background. They’ve been grinding hard and built products. Maybe not the next $1bn project but thanks to their transparency, I wanted to give them a chance to explain who they are and what they are building. TIER 4: 🔴 AIKAT, MOZAIQ, TIP, BOUNTY, V11N, 0XMETA, ARTS, VCHAT, PBT This is a preliminary analysis – projects might be downgraded or upgraded until their TGE based on new information.
