Will be the most sought-after job for ~all protocols in the coming years.
Problem:
→ You're only going to get a "me" if your protocol is actually good.
Mert will not bullpost bullshit. I will not bullpost bullshit.
The only reason we can defend, and advocate for, our respective ecosystems is because we genuinely believe in what is being built and can stand on that ground.
----------------------
Misconceptions:
i) You have to be well-rounded enough to talk about not-your-thing.
This is participating in "the conversation" of CT and you will only reach the upper-tiers of yappers/mindshare if you can connect with (and contribute to) other ecosystems and what they care about.
ii) It's not just yapping on the timeline.
I spend a considerable amount of time doing things you see away from the topics I post about.
Brand strategy, maintaining social presence of other team members and our various accounts, connecting with both community members and builders, copy review for both Mega and Mafia projects, reviewing and negotiating partnerships....it's a lot of stuff I've never done before and/or am not classically trained on.
I can only do those things because I genuinely enjoy contributing to, and working with, our team and this project.
----------------------
So, yes, there is a ton of opportunity for others out there who want to contribute in a meaningful way to large scale projects and reap the upside of those projects.
It will not be easy. It will be amazing/career-defining.
Everyone should strive for it.

One thing @beast_ico said stuck with me till this day
'every chain needs its own @0xBreadguy ' and its so damn true
When i think about X chain i think about X names
Megaeth - Breadguy
Blast - Ico beast and @Lamboland_
Scroll - @redhairshanks86
Every chain literally needs a

I think if a team has someone with natural timeline charisma it's not needed (see: Toly and to an extent, Jesse).
If you lack that (as mega did), then it's worth landgrabbing.
Fair point, huge opportunity for top agile Yappers with deep CT cultural knowledge
