On June 4th, according to Bitcoin.com, BlackRock's tokenized money market fund BUIDL announced that its dividend distribution in May exceeded $10 million, reaching a monthly historical high. Since its launch, the fund has cumulatively distributed $43.4 million in dividends, with a current management scale of $2.91 billion, maintaining its position as the world's largest tokenized money market fund.
BUIDL, launched by BlackRock in collaboration with Securitize, invests in U.S. Treasuries, cash, and repurchase agreements, and issues tokens across 7 blockchain networks including Ethereum and Solana. In May's dividend distribution, the Ethereum network accounted for 93.7% (approximately $9.37 million), with the remaining networks collectively representing 6.3%. The fund is only open to qualified investors, with a minimum individual investment threshold of $5 million and an institutional threshold of $25 million, with assets custodied by institutions like BNY Mellon.
