Franklin Templeton, managing $1.53 trillion in assets, has launched intraday yield features for tokenized investments on its Benji platform. This innovation achieves second-level granularity in real-time return calculations, solving the inherent delays of traditional financial daily settlement cycles.
"Current systems distribute yields daily or monthly, failing to meet day traders' needs," said Roger Bays, digital assets head of Toncoin. This move aligns with growing institutional demand for blockchain-based financial solutions. Franklin's OnChain US Government Money Fund (managing $750 million) becomes the first product to apply this feature.
