Public databases show that these trademark applications were submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday, covering mobile phones, phone cases, battery chargers, wireless telephone services, and potential retail stores.
Josh Gerben, a senior US professional lawyer, stated that while trademark applications do not necessarily mean that related products will be launched, the thoroughness of the application materials suggests careful consideration. He also pointed out that these trademark applications indicate that Trump may be planning to launch Trump-branded mobile phones or communication services, competing with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile US.
