
PANews reported on July 2nd that according to Cointelegraph, Binance Pay announced a partnership with French fintech company Lyzi, enabling over 80 businesses in the French Riviera to accept cryptocurrency payments. This pilot project covers cities such as Cannes, Nice, Antibes, and Monaco, aiming to integrate digital assets into the region's luxury tourism and retail economy. Through this collaboration, tourists and locals can pay using stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies at various venues, including hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, luxury retailers, and service providers. By scanning a QR code and confirming the transaction, customers can settle bills instantly without paying gas fees. Additionally, the press release stated that merchants can enjoy instant euro settlement through the system's integration.
