This puts into perspective how much these fiat currencies can play into the perceived growth of a lot of assets, even though it's often the underlying denominator which is getting devalued. Usually this isn't as clear with major currencies like this, but in this case we've seen a sharp decline in $DXY since Trump's inauguration.
