Former US SEC official joins Veda as general counsel

PANews reported on July 29 that, according to Cointelegraph, the decentralized finance platform Veda has appointed TuongVy Le as its general counsel to expand cross-chain yield products for institutional investors. Previously, he served as the chief legal counsel and senior advisor in the enforcement division and the office of legislative and intergovernmental affairs at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for nearly six years. Before joining Veda, Le was the general counsel and corporate secretary of the crypto custody platform Anchorage Digital, and later transitioned to an advisory role. During his tenure as an SEC commissioner, Le provided consulting on early drafts of digital asset legislation to Congress and served as a member of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Global Markets Advisory Committee.
