An employee of a Shenzhen company was sentenced to four years in prison for using a Trojan horse to steal over 3 million yuan worth of USDT.

According to ChainCatcher, the Futian District People's Procuratorate in Shenzhen reported that an employee of a company used a Trojan horse program called "Electronic Master Key" to obtain non-specific account numbers and passwords, and then cracked the company's account password, stealing over 3 million yuan worth of USDT. After receiving the report, the police arrested the employee. During the trial, the employee had already compensated for the losses and received forgiveness from the victim company. The court sentenced the employee to four years in prison and imposed a fine of 20,000 yuan for theft.
