I had a serious and long debate with some extremely wealthy Individuals last night. Would you rather buy a $100m yacht or a $100m jet. (Lmk what you would choose and why!) Most said the jet, speed, more convenience, travel anywhere in the world at the blink of an eye, double time, in luxury with you and your family. I was hedged towards a jet. It’s one of the ultimate +EV buys any high net work individual can have access too. However, after discussion I decided on a super yacht - with a helipad on top. Imagine a fully equipped yacht, sail anywhere, anytime, no bullshit. Need to get somewhere within x mile radius - take the chopper. (Limited) but gives a bit of balance. Safety? Yacht wins. World war disaster? Yacht wins. Food? Can always fish. Water, surrounded by it. Get filtration system or boil it. Fuel? Jet = limited. You have to stop. Yacht = underground storage could make sure you are good for x amount of time. Once I make the big B, I think I’m going for the yacht. @TateTheTalisman charter the jets and own the yachts yeah?
