According to ChainCatcher and Coinglass data, if Ethereum breaks through $4,400, the cumulative short position liquidation intensity on mainstream CEXs will reach 709 million. Conversely, if Ethereum falls below $4,200, the cumulative long position liquidation intensity on mainstream CEXs will reach 1.96 billion.
The liquidation chart doesn't show the exact number of contracts pending liquidation or the exact value of liquidated contracts. Instead, the bars on the chart show the importance, or strength, of each liquidation cluster relative to its neighbors. Therefore, the chart shows the extent to which the underlying price will be affected when it reaches a certain level. A taller "liquidation bar" indicates a stronger reaction to the liquidity surge expected at that point.
