Plume announces integration of USDC and CCTP V2

Plume , a blockchain platform focused on real-world asset ( RWA) finance, announced the completion of native integration with USDC , the world's largest regulated stablecoin , and the simultaneous launch of Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) V2 . This upgrade is considered a key milestone in the stability and scalability of the Plume ecosystem, which currently reaches over 200,000 users and a network of over 200 partners worldwide.



On Plume, users can now directly:

1. Use USDC to mint the native stablecoin pUSD and redeem it back to USDC whenever needed
2. Collateralize and settle RWA with compliant, fully-reserved stablecoins

Plume said that this mechanism provides institutions and individuals with a reliable on-chain financial infrastructure, helping the issuance, mortgage and payment of RWA to enter a wider range of application scenarios.

Leveraging Circle’s infrastructure, the Plume ecosystem gains direct access to institutional-grade deposit and withdrawal channels, as well as developer-friendly and seamless integration of USDC into Plume applications, unlocking new payment and settlement processes.

USDC is the world's most widely used compliant stablecoin, backed by a 1:1 USD reserve system. Its native integration with Plume not only improves payment and settlement efficiency but also opens up new opportunities for innovation in RWAfi, DeFi, and social applications . Furthermore, leveraging Circle's compliant infrastructure, Plume provides institutional users with more efficient on-chain and off-chain fiat-to-USDC conversion channels.

The simultaneous launch of CCTP V2 further strengthens cross-chain interoperability.
