Pi Network (also known as Pi Coin) announced a major breakthrough: through its newly released system processing flow, over 3.36 million Pioneers who were previously in temporary KYC status successfully completed full KYC verification, with approximately 2.69 million of them successfully migrating to the mainnet blockchain. This breakthrough marks a significant achievement for Pi Network in building a secure, authentic, and inclusive personal network.

AI-supported identity verification and security
This system employs a sophisticated verification mechanism, utilizing advanced AI models to analyze large datasets of liveness detection and KYC application data. Specifically designed for analyzing ad hoc KYC cases, the system double-verifies that each applicant is both a genuine, living individual and capable of passing the additional checks required for full KYC. This innovative verification process has enabled over 4.76 million ad hoc KYC pioneers to qualify for full KYC completion.
Through these stringent verification measures, the new system effectively prevents fake accounts from passing KYC verification, upholds the Pi Network's fundamental policy of "one person, one account," further protects the network's integrity, and ensures the fair rights of genuine Pioneers. These verification mechanisms collectively support Pi Network's network of legitimate users, serving its Web3 ecosystem.
Continuous optimization and user experience improvement
In addition to the 3.36 million Pioneers who have already completed verification, approximately 3 million Pioneers with temporary KYC status can unlock the new system process by submitting the required additional liveness detection. Pi Network advises relevant users to complete the liveness detection required in the application as soon as possible to qualify for system processing and advance the final completion of their KYC application.
Pi Network emphasizes that, in addition to completing the necessary tasks and checklists, active mining and participation in Pi applications can help trigger various underlying automated system processes, including this update, thereby accelerating the KYC and migration process. For users who have not yet migrated to mainnet, Pi Network recommends checking their KYC completion status and completing the mainnet checklist to facilitate the migration.
This significant advancement not only meets the needs of Pi Network, which is currently in a "provisional KYC" state, but also further solidifies Pi Network's fundamental position as a secure, authentic, and inclusive network of real users, thus providing strong support for its Web3 ecosystem.
