Changpeng Zhao (CZ), one of the most important names in the cryptocurrency industry, has issued a new warning.
Accordingly, Binance founder and former CEO CZ warned against purchasing a memecoin created in connection with his statue recently placed in front of the US Capitol in Washington DC.
While it was stated that the memecoin created in relation to CZ's statue is CZSTATUE, CZ stated in his post on X that the memecoin linked to his statue is merely an attempt to profit from his own name and urged the public not to purchase it.
CZ added that he would not accept the statue as a gift and described it as extremely egoistic for a person to have his own statue in his home.
While I appreciate this gesture, the fact that there's a memecoin associated with it means the creator is probably looking to make a quick profit by interacting with me. This is something I don't like. Do not buy this memecoin.

As you may recall, a group led by a person named Nick Zee had previously announced that the statue would be displayed for a few hours and then gifted to Zhao or auctioned to support the education project Giggle Academy, which he leads.
While I want to appreciate the gesture, the fact that there is a meme coin associated with this means the creator probably just wanted to make a quick buck off an interaction from me. This is something I don't appreciate. Don't buy the meme.
