Pi Network Ventures has secured its first investment in OpenMind to jointly build a decentralized intelligent robot collaboration architecture.

According to Mars Finance, Pi Network Ventures announced the completion of its strategic investment in OpenMind and the official launch of its technology collaboration. OpenMind's core technologies include the hardware-universal OM1 operating system and the FABRIC protocol, both of which enable robots to learn and collaborate collectively within a decentralized ecosystem. Through Pi Network's distributed computing power and its global network of 350,000 nodes, OpenMind has successfully completed its first proof-of-concept (PoC) for deploying a distributed computing AI model for robots. OpenMind can deploy facial recognition AI models used by robots on the OM1 operating system in a decentralized manner, reducing the costs and dependencies of traditional centralized cloud computing, and strengthening multiple layers of privacy protection in embodied intelligence application scenarios in a verifiable and permissionless manner. Pi Network Ventures stated that investing in OpenMind is not only a capital deployment but also an important step for Pi Network to build technological and ecological synergy capabilities in the era dominated by physical AI and embodied intelligence. The two parties will continue to collaborate on distributed computing power and intelligent agent collaboration, exploring the next stage of possibilities for the integration of blockchain, AI, and intelligent robots.
