I’d argue that base layer privacy would be better and there are many layers and vectors to consider LN to not be privacy proof given enough resources at one’s disposal Would love to see next iterations of LN address these vectors and would also love to see UX friendly solutions on the base layer Don’t trust, verify, should be taken seriously when it comes to governments and possibly nefarious entities like Palantir or other intelligence Bitcoin shouldn’t be complacent and say “hey we have ways to apply privacy” when in reality they aren’t fool proof Cognitive dissonance leading to sub par solutions shouldn’t be what we strive for My biggest question is, if we even get to implemented and accepted solutions, what the ETF issuers decide in terms of what chain to follow, considering potential regulatory constraints that won’t let them accept a black box
