According to Foresight News , the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), established by Trump to reduce the size of the government after taking office, has been dissolved. When asked about the current state of DOGE, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management Director, Cooper, stated, "It simply doesn't exist." According to an executive order signed by Trump after taking office, DOGE was supposed to operate until July 2026.
According to a previous Foresight News report, Musk stated in an interview with Joe Rogan that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) poses a threat to the bureaucracy. "Before the DOGE, the officials we elected had very little power relative to the bureaucracy. So, the DOGE's emergence posed a threat to the bureaucracy."
