According to Odaily Odaily, U.S. stock index futures rose slightly before the market opened on Tuesday, with technology and cryptocurrency companies recovering some of the losses from the previous day. S&P 500 futures rose 0.2%, Nasdaq futures rose 0.3%, and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were flat.
Shares of Coinbase Global and Robinhood Markets recovered some of Monday's losses as Bitcoin stabilized overnight. Coinbase shares rose 1.5% in pre-market trading, while Robinhood shares gained nearly 1%. The previous day, both companies' shares fell more than 4% after Bitcoin dropped below $85,000.
Bitcoin rose slightly to around $87,320.22 in early trading on Tuesday, but remains well below its early October peak of $126,000. Software and database platform company MongoDB rose more than 23% after exceeding Wall Street's third-quarter sales and profit targets.
In global bond markets, long-term U.S. Treasury yields rose after the Bank of Japan governor hinted at a possible interest rate hike this month, dragging up global yields. This outlook has raised concerns about volatility in global bond and stock markets. (Washington Post)
