US SEC Chairman: The entire US financial market may migrate to blockchain within two years.

According to Foresight News , citing Forbes, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins stated that the entire U.S. financial market is expected to migrate to the blockchain technology underpinning Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies within the next two years. In an interview with Fox Business, Atkins said, "This is not just a trend for the next 10 years, it could become a reality in just two years. The next step will come with digital assets, market digitization, and tokenization, which will bring 'huge benefits' to transparency and risk management." Tokenization, which refers to representing stocks and assets with tradable blockchain-based tokens, is hailed as a potential revolution in financial markets.
