When people blindly FUD lack of “token holder protections” as if stockholders have so much better protections, please remain them that stockholders are also completely at the mercy of management decisions. Companies can stop doing stock buybacks or stop paying dividends at any time. They can make poor capital allocation decisions by making bad acquisitions or spending too much on R&D, or paying employees too much. Not to mention the only time you have a claim on assets as a shareholder is when they go bankrupt, at which time your claim is almost always $0 anyway. Whether you own a stock or a token, you are betting on growth and management capital allocation decisions. It’s not different.
