Velo, a developer of infrastructure for programmable payments and tokenized RWA, is expanding its position in digital finance through a series of new partnerships across Asia.
Velo formed a partnership with EVOLVE Chain, a blockchain platform focused on sustainable assets, to tokenize electric vehicles and green energy products. The company also launched a joint initiative with Lightnet, a regional payments network, and OpenEden, a tokenized-treasury provider, to introduce Treasury-as-a-Service and the ASEAN Settlement Network.
The firms are now codeveloping Orbit Plus, a multi-chain application combining wallets, RWA trading, payment tools and loyalty functions. The app is in beta testing. Velo also secured a spot listing on OKX Singapore and futures trading on KuCoin, two global digital-asset exchanges offering institutional access.
