> "I will sell the highs and come back in a year to buy the lows" no, you won't. same person convincing themselves of this is the same person that told themselves they'd buy the lows in 2022, log out, and sell the highs 3 years later I know a lot of people that said they'd do that, but I don't know anybody that actually did it. that's just not how it works. if you want to participate in the extremes, you have to learn how to navigate the mundane your biggest goal should be to mitigate drawdown, whilst being an active participant when warranted* you'll receive all the benefits of experience: get more comfortable and familiar with pressing the buttons, refine your strategy, learn more about yourself and the obstacles you struggle with as a trader, all whilst avoiding trauma for the next fruitful period and as a result, you'll enable the possibility to be rewarded when generational opportunities are presented once again. the only way out, is through. if you've convinced yourself otherwise, I pity your naivety; I once thought that way too.
