I think Doug is correct—Hyperliquid’s ADL is actually Sybil-resistant

Still catching up on the recent ADL debates, and have lots of opinions that I am still putting together.
But one thing that I actually find surprising is that the only thing Dan and Tarun seem to agree on is that HL’s ADL system is Sybil vulnerable.

The use of entryPrice means it is somewhat gameable (you can move down in the queue by selling and reentering a position), but not really through sybils, at least in the sense described in the paper

Sure. But even without Sybil you can also just close a position that’s deep in profit and re-open. Self trading helps remove frictions around liquidity and tcosts, but it doesn’t really seem like this is a Sybil specific issue.
This seems more about position PnL from entry
