That’s actually the opposite. You accelerate a wall of stupidity, because you end up with the majority of the population stuck on basic income, which is effectively poverty. They can’t afford anything that actually matters. They’re limited to low-quality goods, bad food, and irrelevant stuff, while only the ultra-rich can access what truly has value.

no but you do avoid civil war as population that is lazy enough not to work gets to tell families to nflx and chill without consequences (ie in face of mass blue collar and white collar replacements to ai and robotics)
i.e. you avoid permanent cap hit to blnaire asset bases
