TechFlow to a report by Financefeeds on December 18, UK fintech company Zepz (which owns international remittance platforms WorldRemit and Sendwave) announced a partnership with enterprise digital asset platform Fireblocks to launch stablecoin-based remittance services in emerging markets.
According to reports, Zepz serves over 9 million users in 130 countries, while Fireblocks processes over $4 trillion in digital asset transfers annually. This collaboration aims to provide a near real-time, low-cost cross-border payment solution, addressing the pain points of long settlement times and high costs associated with traditional correspondent banking pathways.
