To be more precise, does it feel like ZK proofs are on the verge of becoming "money"? No matter how good the technology is, if it doesn't make money, the business itself is lacking. It's like how neighborhood restaurants splurge, while Michelin-starred restaurants struggle and run deficits without sponsorship. I'm somewhat hopeful that @brevis_zk will be able to achieve profitability, something no ZK service has ever achieved.
