I see so much dabate about "when AGI?? It's never happening! Not with current LLMs!" Zoom out, in 3 years we've gone from a bad machine learning chat bot to a rough IQ of 140+ in every subject known to humanity... Don't midcurve it because you have a bias. It is already smarter than you, you just don't know how to talk to it. AGI? No one cares except the fact that once you announce it it announces that humans are replaced as apex intelligence. No once wants to do that. My definition of AGI (not that you care)? Smarter than all humans on average. We passed that last year. A tougher test ? Smarter than 99% of humans.
