Lots of debate about the quantum issue for BTC. Certainly not my area of expertise. But I do know BlackRock pretty well. And it’s probably safe to say that if needed, they would be willing to use their influence and formidable technical resources to protect their most profitable ETF product: IBIT.
And then there’s the US government. What type of resources would it marshal to protect a strategic reserve?
Cue the protests about how this would “violate the original spirit of BTC…”
