Great insight! It sounds that for chess specifically intuition would be the result of training, preparation and pre computation somewhere in the brain. But that’s very different from other forms of intuition, isn’t it? Curious to hear your comments.

Also, it’s amazing that people gain intuition for chess too.
Even at semi-pro level you can experience the feeling that your position is „a bit off” way before you calculate any variations.
At grandmaster level it’s almost magical. They often just feel what the best move is
