Foresight News , Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. (DJT), the parent company of Truth Social, plans to partner with Crypto.com to distribute digital tokens to its shareholders. The distribution is expected to utilize the Cronos blockchain. Under the plan, ultimate beneficial holders of DJT will be eligible to receive one new digital token for every share they hold. Token holders will be eligible for benefits or discounts on products including Truth Social, Truth+, and Truth Predict.
Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes stated that this move aims to reward shareholders by leveraging blockchain technology and regulatory transparency. The token does not represent ownership of the company and may not be transferable or convertible to cash. Trump Media currently operates the social media platform Truth Social, the streaming platform Truth+, and is launching its financial services brand Truth.Fi.
