On January 5, the privacy computing project Zama Protocol announced that the Zama OG NFT claim portal will open on January 5, 2026.
Zama Protocol launched on the Ethereum mainnet on December 31st and completed its first transaction of the privacy-focused stablecoin cUSDT, based on FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption). This is the first confidential ERC-20 transaction achieved on Ethereum L1, with a single transaction cost of approximately $0.13.
