On January 6th, the official website of the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), a subsidiary of the Linux Foundation, showed that Kite AI has joined the AAIF member list, becoming the first AI payment project to join the organization. Kite AI will work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Block, as well as members such as Google, Microsoft, AWS, Cloudflare, and Bloomberg to advance open standards and interoperable infrastructure, jointly building the foundational layer for the Agentic AI era in production environments.
According to Kite's official statement, Kite will focus on capabilities such as verifiable identity, programmable governance, and native stablecoin settlement to enhance the credibility, auditability, and scalability of intelligent agents in real-world execution and collaboration.
