According to a recent post from the on-chain monitoring platform Lookonchain, the meme coin (WHITEWHALE) based on the Solana blockchain was officially listed on the Bybit exchange spot market on January 6, 2026 (trading pair WHITEWHALE/USDT). After listing, the price rose rapidly, and the market value quickly exceeded $95 million, once approaching the $100 million mark.

Notably, one trader (wallet address BCrTEX) initially invested only $343 to buy 14.9 million WhiteWhale tokens. He subsequently sold 7.5 million of these tokens, making a profit of approximately $86,000. He currently holds 7.4 million tokens, with a market value of approximately $687,500. In total, this trade has yielded a floating profit of $773,000, representing an astonishing return on investment of 2,253 times.
What is WhiteWhale?
$WhiteWhale is a meme token that was fairly launched in December 2025 through the pump.fun platform on Solana, with a total supply of approximately 1 billion tokens. The token was originally created by a community of fans and was inspired by the well-known Crypto trader @TheWhiteWhaleV2 on Twitter.
The account initially used the "white whale" image, and later took over the project itself, emphasizing community-driven, transparent, and long-term holding beliefs. Its core narrative is "A Whale for the People," symbolizing resistance against manipulators and rug pulls in the "deep sea" of the crypto market, advocating for the power and patience of the real community.
WhiteWhale has no actual DeFi functionality or practical value; it relies entirely on meme culture, viral spread, and community popularity to drive its growth. Similar to other popular meme coins in the Solana ecosystem, such as GOAT or PNUT, it can currently be traded on DEXs like Raydium and Jupiter, or CEXs like Bybit.
However, it's worth noting that while the listing on Bybit brought a short-term surge, Meme Coin is inherently highly speculative, and its price is easily influenced by market sentiment and selling pressure. We remind investors to fully assess the risks before participating and avoid blindly chasing high prices.
