According to Foresight News , Bitcoin Core has announced a wallet migration bug in Bitcoin Core wallet versions 30.0 and 30.1. In rare cases, migrating an older (BDB) wallet may delete all wallet files on the same node. If these wallets are not backed up, this could result in the loss of funds.
Bitcoin Core states that only the migration process for older wallets will be affected. All other uses will remain unaffected. Users can continue to use Bitcoin Core normally, including using existing wallets and running nodes without wallets.
