Elon’s right. Full autonomy isn’t about “it sort of works.” It’s grinding through edge cases until systems are demonstrably safer than humans. Reasoning models are powerful, but they still need real-world, validated traffic data. That’s exactly what Atlas Navi is gathering — mile by mile DATA: collecting globally, validating and powering smart cities, navigation, and soon, autonomous AI. We know first hand from testing and developing software for (admittedly only) TWO autonomous test vehicles (still in our parking lot) how hard it is. That's why we started Atlas Navi. We aim to be the SCALE AI for autonomous vehicles with all the data we are collecting. (hint: Meta invested $14Bn for 49% for their curated AI data). Exciting times. Autonomy isn’t coming — it’s being trained. Soon with NAVI data. $NAVI #NAVI #DePIN

You’re right.
The actual time from when FSD sort of works to where it is much safer than a human is several years.
The legacy car companies won’t design the cameras and AI computers into their cars at scale until several years after that.
So this is maybe a competitive
