Africa, as the world's third-largest and fastest-growing region for cryptocurrencies, is increasingly vulnerable to digital asset scams and fraud. A recent Interpol operation in Africa seized $260 million worth of illicit cryptocurrencies and fiat currency, highlighting the urgent need for stronger cybersecurity in the continent to combat cybercrime.
