It's a bit different than the usual "under communism everyone is lazy" story. Instead here, the big challenge is ALLOCATION. The allocation project I am most interested in as of today is @deep_funding . Scott, if you're reading this you should know one of the brains behind this is @devanshmehta - who impressed you with his impact assessment project as you mentioned here: astralcodexten.com/p/impact-ma...… (Does the giant gold golf ball city ring a bell?). It's also an AI alignment project, though people talk about it less in those terms, so that might make it interesting for you as well.
