Damn, finally got Gemini enabled in Chrome! I'll record a video to show you how. If you're like me, having tried everything and still not getting it working, and you're using macOS: Just change your system language to English, and it will appear after a restart. First, Chrome settings: 1. Turn on all Gemini-related switches. 2. Then set all Chrome browser regions to the United States. This process can be done via command line or using an existing project (as shown below). Then, regarding Google account and system settings: 1. Change your Google account region to the United States. 2. Set your Google account language to English. 3. The Google Chrome browser I mentioned earlier also needs to be changed to English. On macOS, to change the Google Chrome interface to English, you need to set your entire system language to English.

I'm getting old; I didn't know macOS allowed you to set the language for individual applications. Just scroll down in "Language & Region," find "Applications," and click the plus sign.
