ironically, gold mooning will amplify all the downsides of gold more than ever before
that it's impractical to move and that it can be controlled/seized easily across borders
or you can just use the internet and some cryptography
the race between new vs. old has just begun
the alternative of course is an IOU for gold, which works, but as the name suggests, is not yours
If the gold disappeared you still have the iou though.
What the IOU is doing to the concept of asset, few understand.
