It’s disheartening to see people within the same space go out of their way to tear others down. Unless you’ve built a project yourself, it’s difficult to understand how daunting the process can be. Most builders are doing this out of genuine love and passion for the space, often sacrificing time, energy and personal resources to push the ecosystem forward. That matters. While healthy skepticism and accountability are important, there’s a growing pattern of negativity driven for engagement. This simply cheapens the space. There are legitimate teams doing real work with good intentions to uplift the space. Those efforts deserve respect and thoughtful dialogue, not takedowns. If we want this space to mature and attract creators, builders and participants, we need to move away from engagement driven hostility and toward professionalism, constructive feedback and mutual respect. Progress comes from collaboration not from tearing others down for attention.
