Vitalik just killed the L2 alignment games and puts all rollups into a position of scale or die.
Because to scale is to improve UX.
Some facts:
→ Ethereum offers an inferior DA product to the market wrt scaling (it is less scalable and more costly than EigenDA, Celestia or Avail).
→ Users do not give a single shit if a chain is altDA vs Ethereum blobs.
Ipso facto: Rollups can now make the switch to altDA to improve UX and save on costs at the expense of Ethereum fees.
I predicted this years ago and I am validated
