How do we feel about the MacBook M4 Pro fellas? Laptop fan started to go out today on the MSI Stealth GS66 I got back in 2021. Thinking about pulling the trigger and making the switch.

Pick up the new model once it comes out in a couple months. I would say just spend a little more to get it fully loaded with the best specs- do that and it will probs last you a decade. I got a fully loaded one in 2021 and still works like the day I bought it so I’m sure the 2026 model will be fantastic.

Yeah did the same thing with my stealth in 2021 but I’m honestly tired of how loud it runs under load even before the fan issues Heard the MacBook delivers similar power with way more silence and efficiency and is a bit more dev friendly

Ohhhh lol my bad I wasn't clear- I meant pick up the Macbook Pro once the new one releases in a couple months. I picked up a fully loaded MBP in '21 and its been great.
