Because this is easy to calculate, simply using (total deposits - total withdrawals) - current net worth. This simple formula easily gives you the PNL for the entire account. However, calculating the PNL for each trade and position is very complex. Yes, very complex, considering many factors. Most Perp DEXs haven't implemented position statistics because the calculation logic is somewhat complex and requires specific databases. So, the question always arises: what makes a good product?
