The whoop is a status symbol - the high performing executive, the suave tech bro/gal into fitness, or the high agency creative who cares about themselves. The objective is performative and it’s okay. But on the science, Apple Watch doesn’t sample as often as a whoop so Whoop definitely will provider better analytics. It’s great from aerobic activities and not anaerobic ones like lifting as the strain doesn’t register. Personally the sleep score made my sleep worse as I tried to game it. I’m on the use a watch only during workout bandwagon.
