California ranked DEAD LAST for business climate 48th for tax competitiveness. 47th for economic outlook. Meanwhile, government is now the 3rd largest employer in San Diego County — and public payrolls keep growing while private-sector jobs disappear. They call it "job growth." It's actually taxpayers paying themselves while the real economy stalls. A $4 trillion economy shouldn't be one of the hardest places in America to start a business. We don't need a bigger government jobs program. We need an economy where the private sector can breathe again.
