Utexo is building the infrastructure for private USDT transactions over the Bitcoin network, using @RGBAssociation and Lightning Network.

Bitcoin is widely recognized as the most adopted and trusted blockchain settlement layer in the world, and the Lightning Network provides a path to scaling its transactions. However, Lightning’s technical complexity remains a barrier to broader adoption.
At the same time, USDT and other stablecoins have gained significant momentum, yet there is still no widely adopted solution for making private stablecoin transactions.
These gaps create an opportunity to build a user-friendly execution layer that combines Bitcoin’s trusted settlement layer with the scalability of the Lightning Network, while enabling private transactions by default. Utexo will support seamless private transactions for both stablecoins and Bitcoin, paving the way for mainstream retail adoption and bringing the benefits of digital assets to a broader audience.
The RGB protocol is a new digital asset framework. It’s not a blockchain, but one that facilitates the issuance and movement of digital assets like a blockchain does. It leverages Bitcoin's settlement layer to commit changes in digital rights while performing transaction validation on the client side. Rather than relying on a centralized ledger, each digital asset carries a record of its own prior transactions, enabling scalable and private operations without requiring on-chain data storage. Utexo is building the native DeFi infrastructure and tooling for it.
